Fontana Food AB is a family business. Since the start in 1978, the Papadopoulos family has been an ambassador for food from Greece and the countries around the Mediterranean Sea in Sweden. The classic halloumi cheese has been around since the 1980s, when Fontana's founder Frixos Papadopoulos was the first in Sweden to sell halloumi. Nowadays, it is highly loved throughout the country. Fontana has always worked for a sustainable society in terms of both people, animals and nature. This is something that our founder he always cherished, long before it ended up in today's focus and social debate.

Greek olive oils for every occasion
We Greeks have an ancient tradition of growing, harvesting and cold-pressing olives into a virgin oil. The oldest finds are over 6000 years old. Since the first drops were produced, manufacturing has been developed and refined over millennia. Grilled olives!
Fontana is now launching grilled Halkidiki olives in a convenient PP plastic packaging with a screw cap - easy to store, open and handle in commercial kitchens and Horeca environments. Packed in brine for best durability and quality, and with the same taste recognition as Fontana's popular retail series Frixos Finest Grilled Olives. The grilled olives offer a unique taste profile that meets guests' growing interest in clear, rustic and Mediterranean-inspired flavors.
