Marwi: Nordic seafood, built on 30+ years of craft

The brand

Marwi is the seafood brand of JP Foods AS, a family-owned Estonian producer of seafood processing, wholesale, and retail since 1992. One brand covers the whole shelf: ready-to-cook shrimp, seasoned tapas, grill marinades, brine-packed, and delicacy ranges. A single supplier for every consumer occasion.
The craft

Our heritage is hand-peeling Pandalus borealis, Northern Europe's most demanding cold-water shrimp. Shell-on prawns are caught in the North Atlantic, then cooked and frozen at sea. We hand-peel them at our IFS-, BSCI-, and MSC-certified facility and ship them to Estonia for distribution across Scandinavia.

Hand-peeling gives a whole, intact shrimp with a smooth texture, the quality that shows on a HoReCa plate. Our Vannamei and MAP ranges are where we grow fastest, with flavours and formats developed fast to your brief.

MAP 100g products

Marwi MAP 100 g range Ready-to-eat seafood in convenient 100 g portions, packed in a protective atmosphere (MAP) to keep every bite fresh, tender and full of flavour. No preparation needed. Open, serve and enjoy on salads, pasta, tapas boards or straight from the tub. The range covers four seafood types in seven flavours: Hand-peeled cold-water shrimps – classic, delicate and sweet, MSC certified Vannamei shrimps, natural – mild and juicy Vannamei shrimps, paprika-garlic – smoky-sweet with a garlic kick Vannamei shrimps, chilli-garlic – bold heat balanced with garlic Mussels, paprika-garlic – rich and savoury Mussels, chilli-garlic – spicy Mediterranean character, ASC certified Crayfish tails with dill – a Nordic classic with fresh dill Octopus, lightly smoked – tender with a gentle smoke note All products are produced in Estonia with MSC/ASC-certified raw materials.
