Vetrère
Organic wines from Salento where family tradition, local grapes and Mediterranean terroir meet in characterful wines
Tradition and terroir from Salento In the heart of Salento in Puglia lies Vetrère, a family-owned winery where tradition, nature and passion for the region's grapes go hand in hand. The history of the winery stretches back several generations and the family's roots in the area can be traced back to the 17th century. Today, the business is run by sisters Francesca and Annamaria Bruni. The vineyards are located in a landscape marked by two seas — the Adriatic and the Ionian — which provides a unique microclimate where grapes such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Minutolo develop depth and richness of aroma. Organic farming and sustainability permeate the entire production. On the farm, modern technology and traditional methods are combined in the cellar, where the wines are stored in historic tuff stone buildings that provide a naturally stable temperature and optimal conditions for the wine's development. The result is authentic wines that reflect the character of Puglia in every glass.
