About us
Salud Foodgroup Europe B.V. (Salud) was founded in 1995 in the Netherlands. We serve our customers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin-America and Oceania from our head-office in Oosterhout, the Netherlands. The departments of Quality, Supply Chain, Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT can be found here.
We produce and distribute frozen avocado products, appetizers, tortillas, frozen fruit & vegetables. These product categories also represent the colours green, orange, red and yellow in our logo. The name ‘Salud’ derives from the Spanish expression of good wishes for a good health. Avocados are, and have been, our main product category. We like to promote and inspire using avocados in all kinds of dishes, since they are a great addition to your health and menu. Thereby we offer the solution to be able to use the same quality of Hass avocados throughout the entire year, for foodservice, retail or industry, by using frozen avocado products, ripened to perfection.
We innovate with our avocado products by not only using them as IQF avocados or in our guacamoles, but also by using them in our other product categories. For example in an avocado tortilla or as a fried avocado appetizer. We prioritize serving our customers the best quality appetizers, which is why our R&D Department spends a lot of time in our test kitchen at the head-office. Here we create, optimize and innovate our appetizers, and where we develop your custom-made products.

Avokatsu bite
Enjoy a tasty snack with avocado and edamame beans wrapped in a crispy Katsu curry coating. It’s a perfect blend of Nikkei flavours, a Japanese-Peruvian fusion feast, and a good source of protein and fibers!
HPP Western guacamole
Guacamole seasoned with garlic, onion, spices and chunks of red bell pepper. 70% Hass avocado. This product is packaged in bags that are nitrogen gas flushed and high pressure treated. This means a shelflife in closed bags of 45 days after thawing, kept refrigerated.
Mozzarella sticks
The fantastic stretch and delicious flavour of Mozzarella sticks appeal to everyone. They are the perfect choice for a trendy appetizer with a drink, as well as a vegetarian selection.

Crispy Avocado fries, made of Hass-avocado wedges battered and breaded in a chili coating.
Avocado Halves
IQF avocado Freshly frozen, convenient, no wastage, time-saving, ripe and delicious: Salud IQF (individual Quick Frozen) avocado products. Made of the well-known and famous Hass avocado. We cut the perfectly ripened avocados into dices, slices and halves, deep-freeze them immediately and pack them in handy 500-gram packs. Forget the hassle of peeling and de-stoning Simply defrost your product and enjoy preparing your favourite dish. Our IQF avocados are available in different shapes and sizes and applicable on various dishes. Want to top off a salad? Make a smoothie? Make guacamole or make your pasta sauce extra smooth?
