Water is essential – to brewing coffee, baking pastries, cleaning kitchen equipment, and other tasks.

Although invisible to the naked eye, these can have a major impact on the taste, consistency and appearance of beverages and baked goods. As early as 1992, we established a recycling programme for our filter cartridges – the first in our industry.

BRITA PURITY C Quell ST
Product information: The PURITY C Quell ST stands for a reliable reduction in carbonate hardness and in substances leading to lime scale deposits. In addition, it reduces unwanted taste and aroma elements and particles, thereby ensuring optimum product quality and long operational life of the machine. At the same time, the PURITY C Quell ST filters stand out with their simple handling and fitting even in tight installation conditions.

BRITA Recycling Program
We know that the resources on our planet are limited and therefore we want to use them as carefully and efficiently as possible. Avoiding waste and recycling valuable materials play an important role at BRITA. What started at BRITA back in the 1980s with the return of used filters culminated in a professional recycling program in 1992. This made BRITA the first supplier in the industry to focus on environmental protection through recycling. And thanks to our recycling program, we can return up to 85%* of our cartridge content back to the recycling cycle, breathing a lot of new life into our filters.
